Sweet Chariots

Sweet Chariots is a family owned and operated business located in rural Fayette County, in South Central Texas.  Each casket we create is hand made and hand finished in a way that evokes an era when families used their time and skills to build pineboxes for those that they loved. 

We started out with the idea that someday, we would prefer to be buried in simple, hand made caskets that reflected our personalities.  As we talked to family and friends about our wishes, we found out that others were interested in having  similar burials.  Now, Sweet Chariots can offer that option to folks who want a pinebox style casket, but who may not have the building skills or time to make one.
